Adalyn is now 4 months old....where did the time go?
At her doctor's appointment today her stats were: weight - 12 lbs., 9 ounces (30%), height - 24 1/4 inches (50%), 16 inch head circumference (25%). All normal for her age.
She also got 2 vaccination shots and 1 oral vaccinations. She cried for a little bit, but by the time we left the room, she was all smiles again. Jared and I decided to get the H1N1 vaccination and took advantage of the H1N1 injection clinic at Kaiser. Guess the whole family got shots today.
For the past week or so, Adalyn has discovered her voice as well as how fun it is to blow bubbles. She has been absolutely adorable. She squeals and smiles all the time and I think she finds it amusing listening to herself. Out of nowhere, we'll hear squeals and screams coming from a small little girl. And....blowing bubbles always makes mommy and daddy smile, so she loves to do this all the time. Unfortunately, it also means very wet bibs that have to be changed many times a day.
All in all, baby girl is growing, growing, growing and learning, learning, learning.
She's been sleeping about 9 - 12 hours a night and taking frequent naps and mommy and daddy are very happy about that. She's also starting to eat a little more at each meal and we think she's going through a growth spurt!!!
